We all have that one dessert that is our weakness. For example, brownies. They are just so delicious! Unfortunately, some of the ingredients in the traditional brownie recipe don’t really align with a healthy diet. But hey, this doesn’t mean you have to say goodbye to this exquisite dessert! There are ALWAYS options and healthy substitutes that can allow you to enjoy your brownies guilt-free!

Ingredients
Directions
FLAX EGG
Place flaxseed into a grinder and grind until it turns into powder (if using ground flaxseed skip this step).
Put the ground flaxseed in a small bowl and add the water.
Stir the flaxseed and the water.
Let the mix sit for 5 minutes.
VEGAN BROWNIES
Put the organic peanut butter into a mixing bowl.
Add the flax egg into the mix.
Add in the honey (or maple syrup), cacao powder, sea salt, vanilla and baking soda into the mixing bowl.
Blend it all up!
Once the batter is perfect, add the chocolate chips and mix them with the batter (you can use a spoon for this).
For some extra flavor, chop some walnuts and add them to the mix!
Grease a 9x13 oven pan with oil (I use coconut oil).
Spread the batter evenly throughout the pan.
Add some walnuts at the very top if you’d like!
Set oven at 325 °F and bake between 25-40 minutes (depending on the consistency that you want).
Wait for them to cool down.
You know what to do next: Enjoy your delicious brownies!
